Why is HappyFeet great for boys?

Young kids, especially boys, learn through play. HappyFeet offers a structured curriculum that allows the kids the opportunity to develop motor skills, practice following directions, and work as a team in a fun and exciting way. It is very important to help boys develop their creative side. The HappyFeet curriculum consistently offers boys challenges or problems that require them to creatively develop a solution. As boys progress through the curriculum they look at difficult tasks as something they can handle easily rather than finding them discouraging.
A major developmental opportunity for boys in HappyFeet classes is socialization. Boys consistently learn through play and HappyFeet’s curriculum allows them to learn social team skills in a creative but organized manner.
According to Carleton Kendrick, Ed., M., "Socialization is the single greatest developmental benefit to be gained from a good preschool experience.”
Confidence is perhaps the most important positive from the HappyFeet approach. HappyFeet gives kids the ability to consistently improve which solidifies their self concept. Additionally each kid has their own ball throughout the session giving all kids, despite varying ability levels, the opportunity to succeed!
“Alec's confidence level greatly increased after he had been in preschool. He gained a certain sense of self that was otherwise not apparent before his preschool experience. He enjoyed being around other children and loved learning.” Mother of preschool boy
